 ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE OR ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

We are looking for interns for our Finance department. Two teams are ready to host and train inquisitive finance students. 

Accounts Receivable team is responsible for providing efficient, timely and accurate service and support in their area for all Distrelec Group entities and customers. Their goal is to ensure healthy debt structure and avoid bad debt losses. Sounds interesting? Wait till you see their day-to-day tasks you will be able to acquire during your internship.
Our Accounts Payable team is responsible for incoming invoice processing (Both goods and services) for all appointed Distrelec companies. Their main daily tasks include - invoice processing, comparison of supplier accounts and communication with members of representative offices, suppliers and purchasing team and just being awesome

DAY-TO-DAY TASKS

• Assisting team members as needed;
• Sort and distribute incoming mail;
• Assisting team with imaging and workflow automation process;
• Run customer receivables communication (bills, questions, requests).

We do not expect for you to have years and years of experience - we want you to acquire the necessary practical knowledge, gain great and useful experience for your future career and we want to show you the amazing world of finance and why we love it. We have only few requirements for this position.

IF YOU:

• Have strong English and Latvian language skills, both written and oral;
• Are a student or graduate in finance or accounting related field;
• Are ready to learn and work in accounting or finance field.
